Wolverines Win At Morris

Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Wolverines played at Morris on Tuesday September 24th, to a 8-0 victory. The Wolverines offense stood out in this game, with 27 shots on goal that resulted in eight goals. With a whole list of contributors, it was a well rounded victory for the Wolverines that also provided some key starters some rest. Sophomore transfer Tyreece Francis had himself a hatrick with 3 goals, Freshmen Miguel Solorzano had two goals, Freshmen Michael Ogbinaka had two goals as well, and sophomore Jaime Cobas with one goal. 

The Wolverines have been on a tear of late, score 5 or more goals in 3 of the last 5 games. Jonny Miranda and Omar Tito both finished off the shutout for the Wolverines in goal, with one save and two saves respectively.

The Wolverines (5-1-1) return to action Thursday September 26th, when they host Harcum College at 6pm.
