On behalf of Essex County College, welcome to the Wolverine Family!

All potential transfer student-athletes must meet the NJCAA Academic progress requirements based on their previous college to be immediately eligible.

Once you are settled with class registration, financial aid, and other academic matters, you will need the following documents to complete your NJCAA Eligibility process:

1 - Received a physical and submitted the completed Essex CC Athletic physical form to the Essex Athletic Department. To receive the Physical Form, it is available under Athletic Resources or stop by the athletic office located in the Cleo Hill Sr. Physical Education Building.

2 - Acquire your official high school transcript. If mailed, please keep the envelope sealed and do not open. In the event that the envelope containing the official transcript is opened, the transcript will be deemed unofficial.

3 - Acquire the official transcripts from all previous institutions attended.  For example, if you attended only one course at 'Institution A', the athletic department will need the official transcript from 'Institution A'. If you visited multiple institutions, we would need multiple official transcripts from each institution.

4 - If the student-athlete was signed to an NJCAA Letter of Intent (LOI), at any time, in the previous, current, or upcoming academic year at another NJCAA member school, a fully executed NJCAA Transfer Waiver is required for the student-athlete to be eligible for participation following transfer.

5 - Complete a NJCAA Eligibility Packet (Eligibility Affidavit + Amateur Questionnaire).  Packets are available in the Athletic Office or under athletic resources on our website (www.essexwolverines.com)
