Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Women's Soccer team picked up an excellent victory over Sussex on Saturday Oct. 12th, by the score of 2-0. In a game that was deadlock 0-0, two late goals by the Wolverines led to the victory (goals by Ilana Lashley, Stacyann Clair). The win helped the Wolverines reach +500 for the season, bringing the program to a record of 4 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw as they look to defend their Region 19 championship.
Nisrine Taalba picked up two assists and Marie Telusma had one save in goal.
The Wolverines (4-4-1) return to action Thursday Oct. 17th, when they travel to Rowan College South Jersey - Glocuster for a 4pm kickoff.
