Newark, NJ - The Lady Wolverines won 4-3 at Five Towns College on Tuesday September 24th. Essex came out of the gate fast with two goals in the first five minutes, building a 4-1 lead at halftime. Second half, five towns college made it close with two late goals; but the Wolverines were able to defend well and keep the lead for the win.
Freshmen Ilana Lashley chipped in two goals/ one assist and Sophomore Nisrine Taalba also chipped in with two goals. The lady Wolverines had twelve shots on goal and Goalkeeper Marie Telusma finished with 8 saves for the game.
The Wolverines (2-2-1) return to action Thursday September 26th, when they host Harcum at home for a 4pm kickoff.
