Newark, NJ - The Lady Wolverines picked up their first win of the season on September 12th vs Brookdale Community College, winning by a score of 7-0. Essex was paced by Ilana Lashley with 3 goals, Tiffany Escobar with 2 goals, and Nisrine Taalba and Diane Chouna with a goal a piece. Goalkeeper Marie Telusma paced the Wolverines in goal with 2 saves on the day.
The Essex County College Women's Soccer Team will continue it's season and defence of its Region 19 Championship.
The Lady Wolverines (1-0) return to action Saturday September 14th, when they travel to Cumberland for noon kickoff.
