Wolverines Cross Country Sets Personal Bests in METS Championships

Newark, NJ - The Wolverines men saw several career days. Essex was led by freshman Issah Abdul Rahman, who posted a personal best with a time of 29:51 in the 8k, good for 60th in the field. Issah continued what has been a stellar season as a underclassman presence for the Wolverines. Rahman was joined by underclassmen Ayotunde Oyodele and Daniel Barton, who also recorded personal best times. Oyodele, a freshman, placed 65th, recording a time of 32:08. Barton placed 66th, with a season's best time of 33.29.


The Wolverines will be back in action on October 27, when they run in the NJCAA Region 19 Championships in the Branch Brook Park in Newark.
