Track & Field Indoor/Outdoor Season Preview
Newark, NJ - The Essex men's and women's track and field team is gearing up for an exciting indoor season, with a packed schedule of competitions that will take them to top-notch venues across the region. The action kicks off on December 4th with the Knights Mid-Week Clash at FDU, a mid-week meet that will give the team a chance to shake off the rust and get into competitive mode. After a brief holiday break, the Wolverines will be back in action on January 3rd at the Wagner Invite, followed by the Women's Colgate Games on January 3rd. These early-season meets will provide valuable experience and help the team build momentum as they head into the new year.
In February, the team will travel to Ocean Breeze Sports Complex for several invitational events, where they'll face off against top competition from around the region. The highlight of the month will be the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University on February 14th, a prestigious meet that will give the Wolverines a chance to test themselves against the best. As the indoor season reaches its climax, the Wolverines will compete in the METS Championships on March 1st-2nd, followed by the NJCAA Indoor Championships on March 7th-8th. These championship meets will provide a thrilling conclusion to the indoor season, and the team is eager to see how their hard work and dedication will pay off.
