Newark, NJ - The Wolverines blew past their opponents Tuesday night, beating Atlantic Cape by the score of 92-81. Essex controlled the game early on and led by 10 at halftime, before coming out strong again in the second half and crusing to victory. Jaidan Gilzene led the Wolverines with 24 points and 6 rebounds, while Johnathan Quiles II had 15 points and 2 blocks.
The Wolverines shot 68.6% from the field and made key stops on defense, looked like a well oiled machine; operating proficiently all night.
Essex (9-16) will not be off until Thursday Feb. 20th, when they take on Raritan at home for Sophomore night; a 7pm tipoff.
