Wolverines Win At Ulster

Newark, NJ - The Wolverines beat Ulster County Community College 85-80 Sat. Jan 18th. at Ulster. Essex was led by Jonathan Quiles II with 25 points and Jaidan Gilzene with 15 points. The Wolverines forced their opponents to commit 20 turnovers and led a majority of the game, before pulling away late second half. Essex trailed by two at halftime, before turning the game around and outscoring their opponents 43-36 in the second half.

Essex would go on to shoot 60.7% from the field for the game, while limiting their opponents to 47.5%.

Jaidan Gilzene would go on to post a double/double for the game and so would Ethan Laquindanum (11 points and 10 assists).

The Wolverines (4-14) next game is away at Region 19 rivals College County of Morris Tues. Jan. 21st at 7pm.
