
Lady Wolverines Dominate 49th Annual Colgate Women's Games
Newark, NJ - The Lady Wolverines made a statement at the 49th annual Women's Colgate Games, dominating the college division with top 3 finishes in every event they participated in. The team's impressive performance left Coach Leach beaming with pride."This is my 40th year coaching an athlete at these games, and I've never been so proud of a group of young ladies as I have this year," Coach Leach exclaimed. "They really did a magnificent job in dominating the competition."At the heart of the Lady Wolverines' success was sophomore Serena Douglas, who took home the overall championship title in the 1500 meters. Her outstanding performance set the tone for the rest of the team, who followed suit with impressive finishes of their own.
