Men's Soccer Drops Final To Mercer

Newark, NJ - The Essex County College Men's Soccer team dropped a tough game to Mercer on Saturday in the Region 19 Final, by a score of 1-0. In a back and forth game, Mercer was able to sneak a goal in on the Wolverines midway through the first half. The Wolverines would look to strike back and created several opportunities to score, but could not break through. Sophomore Goalkeeper Ahmed Roudane finished 16 saves in goal for the Wolverines.

The loss ends the Wolverines season, in what has been a successful season under first year Head Coach Pedro Sousa; where they reached double digit wins and knocked off a ranked opponent (CCBC Essex).

The Wolverines will now head into the offseason and continue to build off an impressive year!
